PRMA Awards
Some Puerto Rico Manufacturers Association recognition and awards
programs are:
This award program recognizes the performance and accomplishments of
our members in the fulfillment of their duties in the company that they
represent. They are also recognized for their involvement in civic and
community activities. The Regional Awards for Manufacturer of the Year,
Executive of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, Manufacturing Manager
of the Year, and Service Sector Manager of the Year are presented at the
Industrial Gala.
At our annual convention the PRMA presents the Island-wide award for
the Manufacturer of the Year, Executive of the Year, Entrepreneur of the
Year, Manufacturing Manager of the Year, Service Sector Manager of the
Year. At the Awards Gala we also present the Journalism, Héctor
Jiménez Juarbe Award and Exporter of the Year awards. In 2010 we
introduced a recognition program of best practices in Corporate Social
Responsibility.
- Safety and Occupational Health Awards Program
The main objective of this awards program is to promote risk
reduction in the workplace, and to recognize the effort and performance
of those companies that have excelled in the safety and occupational
health field.
- Symbol Employee of the Year
This award program recognizes the performance and contribution of
exempt and non-exempt employees selected by their companies.
Regional Events are held during the month of September culminating in an
island wide event.
The PRMA Quest Team Excellence award is a best practices teamwork
program for global and local companies. The awards are presented
to teams, which most clearly and effectively demonstrate the principles
and techniques of improving performance through participation.
- Environmental Recognitions
The PRMA Environmental Award recognizes members whose achievements
include conservation and restoration efforts exceeding parameters
established by regulatory agencies. The objective of the program
is to communicate to all regulatory agencies and general public about
PRMA members’ commitment to a sustainable development for Puerto
Rico.
